Capabilities

Handicap Accessibility

The principals and staff have considerable training in accessibility for sites and buildings, and have carefully considered all aspects of the regulations under ADA.  In addition, Eldon Stoltzfus sat on a special work force committee studying the impact of the new state accessibility regulations on affordable housing. Numerous workshops and seminars have been attended on the subject.  We have worked with Universal Disabilities Services (UDS) of Lancaster to provide funded housing for special disabilities needs persons.

Historical

Over the past 15 years, Eldon Stoltzfus has been overseeing projects with Historic Tax Credits. Living in a house built in 1729 along the Strasburg Pike has provided continued stimulus and awareness of historic buildings.  All rehabilitation work projects, regardless of age, are considered for their historic fabric when providing services.

Services

Complete knowledge of various building types include every aspect, from finding and evaluating feasibility of sites, providing site acquisition services, planning and zoning consultation, providing preliminary documents for funding and pricing, to preparing all documentation required for soliciting funding for projects.  Our renderings of the proposed project may help in obtaining any required approvals from Zoning Hearing Boards, and procuring funding.  As the project proceeds to construction, all facets of review, including follow-up of any requirements of any agencies having jurisdiction, proper construction documentation for bidding or coordinating with the Developer and Contractor, and review during construction for compliance and for any changes needed due to unforeseen conditions, is accomplished by our firm. See the Services link for more information.
